How One Book Changed My Life And How It Can Change Yours

Dear Friends,  This is a story about a book that changed my life.  I read this book well over 30 years ago, but I still use the techniques I learned when I feel the need to change directions (like moving to Redwood City) or want a new experience such as photographing ethnic minority groups in Africa.  While the title of my story may sound dramatic, I hope you will enjoy the read.  I also hope you might be inspired to look at your own reality and envision what you too want to create for yourself or the world.   Your feedback is always appreciated.  A comment on the Medium page itself  would also be nice since it boosts my ratings as a writer on the Medium platform.    Thank you.  Pam

Thank you, Yasmin. I also want to write a story about how we met.

Hi Pam. I read all the time…however, slowly!!! My neighbor has been after me to join the library, but I thought that was so old fashion, so I kept putting it off. Just about two weeks ago, I got my first library card in 40 years. I LOVE IT! I’ve been there every day picking something up. Mostly been picking up series on DVD, but a couple of books too. And I’ve “downloaded” my first book that I’m listening to in the car. A whole new world awaits!

A whole new world has opened up to you, but now you’ve inspired me to seek out the library since my card has expire.
