My Favorite Photographs of 2021

My Favorite Photographs of 2021

With Covid out of control and travel restrictions in place, 2021 could be described as boring.  And yes, it might have been if I didn’t ride a bicycle or travel to Los Angeles, and take a six week cross country road trip with Bruce.  Riding a bike gets me outside in nature and keeps me in shape, so despite the regulations, I didn’t spend much time indoors. Most of the year we stayed close to home in Redwood City and dreamed about countries we hoped to visit and people we wanted to see.

Considering most of my photography is travel related, I surprisingly took more than 7000 photographs in 2021.  This made choosing 20 favorites challenging.

Some of you may have seen these pictures on social media like Facebook, Instagram or Flickr, but it’s time they are on my website.  Enjoy!

Pam, Thanks for sharing these photos…we too, have been dreaming of the day we can get back out into the world, and yet, if I look at my collection of photos for 2021, there are more than I thought there would be as well. Love the pic of the Ferris Wheel…the colors are amazing! Thanks for taking us on your trip with you!

As always, Pam, great portraits of people and of the land! I did a “double take” for a second when I clicked on the Pigeon Point lighthouse photo. Except for the different buildings at the base, ‘thought I was seeing Portland Head Light!

Thanks, Don. I must get to the Portland Lighthouse sometime. Would love to see the similarity.

Hello Pam….loved all the photos. You find the most interesting people to photograph. Great Ferris Wheel photo with wonderful colors, but my favorite one…..the swings flying high into those beautiful clouds. I’m really partial to black and whites. Hope all is well with you and your family and Happy New Year.
